You will serve as a Park Ranger - Interpretation with National Park Service. Information about the local area can be found here Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work for 11 months per year and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year This vacancy will close 9/8/2026 or when the first 101 applicants have been reached, whichever comes first.

  • Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Develop and present wide variety of formal and informal audience and learner-centered interpretive experiences using a variety of fully-developed interpretive skills, techniques, and tools. Manage VIP program according to DO-7 and RM-7, including recruiting from broad audiences. Develop and evaluate curriculum-based education programs based on DO-6; establish partnerships with education partners. Coordinate a variety of special events. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
