- Serves as a key member of the Forest/Grassland Leadership Team formulating plans, policies, and objectives for the Forest/Grassland.
- Serves as a representative of the agency completing duties in a way that is trustworthy, caring, respectful, responsive, curious, and inclusive.
- Fosters productive relationships with tribal nations while upholding tribal treaty responsibilities in cooperation with Forest Supervisor.
- Oversees the implementation and execution of the District's portion of the Forest/Grassland Plan.
