About the Position: You will serve as Section Chief leading a scientific team on complex environmental cleanup projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with agencies like the EPA to safely execute vital remediation missions.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure deliverables meet cost and quality standards.
- Evaluate scientific data to resolve complex, multi-disciplinary environmental risks and site engineering issues.
- Diagnose technical deficiencies in remediation plans and develops innovative, regulatory-compliant solutions.
- Represent the agency in negotiations with the EPA, state regulators, and public groups to align project goals.
- Resolve complex disputes and builds consensus among diverse external partners on sensitive environmental issues.
