The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with American Indian Tribes to increase and maintain access to water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities by: Providing direct operation and maintenance services to the Tribes and tribal Utilities. Perform site visits to obtain condition of systems, location of mains, determination of local water pressures and plumbing layouts. Prepare and review planning proposals, feasibility studies and engineering designs developed by technical staff Provide training and technical assistance directly to the Tribes on procedures for sanitation facilities, operator certification and compliance with the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act..
