This position is in the Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Office of Transportation and Air Quality, Transportation Sector Impacts and Standards Division, Air Quality Health and Economics Branch. About this organization: OAR This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.
- At the full performance level of this position, you will: Plan, organize, and direct organizational priorities and resources to achieve the Division's goals for air quality, health effects, and economic assessments. Serve as a technical authority and represents the Division, Office, and Agency to stakeholders to provide authoritative input on the development, results, and implications of air quality and health assessments. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities to promote an environment that empowers employees to participate in and contribute to effective mission accomplishment. Oversee staff in the management of grants, contracts, and interagency agreements, in compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, polices, practices and guidelines. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
