You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist with the Regional Office Serving Interior Regions 6, 7, & 8. This announcement is open to career transition eligibles (CTAP, ICTAP, RPL) ONLY.
- Provides technical guidance and support for environmental protection and compliance programs and assists organizations in meeting applicable environmental requirements. Plans, coordinates, and oversees environmental projects and initiatives to address environmental protection, compliance, resource conservation, and operational needs. Evaluates environmental programs, projects, contracts, and related information; coordinates with parks, partners, and other stakeholders to address issues and improve program effectiveness. Coordinates program resources, funding, agreements, reporting, and performance activities to accomplish environmental program objectives. Supports and monitors environmental contracts, assessments, audits, and related projects, including serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
