  • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Environmental Health Scientist, you will: Consult with cooperative agreement recipients, lead Technical Project Teams, and work with subject matter experts to address public health implications of exposures to environmental contaminants. Participate in the development of public health assessments, consultations, and/or related activities concerning potential or actual adverse health effects associated with exposure to chemicals and hazardous substances. Provide guidance on evaluating the public health impacts of human exposure to harmful substances in the environment. Participate in public meetings, workshops, webinars, and committee meetings that relate to hazardous substance exposure, environmental, or public health issues.
