The Ice Park Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of the Holland Ice Park during the winter skatingseason. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring the quality and safety of the ice surface, providing exceptional guestexperiences, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
This is a hands-on, leadership position ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor recreation, managing people, and keepinga busy operation running smoothly.
Schedule: Nights and Weekends (10 - 20 hrs per week, November - March)
Oversee the daily operations of the Holland Ice Park
Supervise, schedule, and support 5–8 Ice Park Attendants per shift
Perform and oversee snow removal around the rink area as needed
Manage front line operations including admissions, skate rentals, and guest services
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility for guests and staff
Respond calmly and effectively to safety incidents
Ensure all required documentation and reports are completed accurately
Enforce facility rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service
Work primarily outdoors in winter conditions; extended standing and physical activity required
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift/carry approximately 50 lbs and perform manual labor, such as shoveling snow.
Self-starter with a basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive public interactions and calmly resolve customer service issues.
Appreciation for working with kids and families.
Previous customer service experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
Experience working in an ice arena or recreation facility is a plus, but not required.
CPR/First Aid training preferred.
